May Fair
SLYNE WITH HEST MAY FAIR
16th September 2011
After a successful May Fair earlier this year, we
are writing to let you know the date of the May Fair next year.
Yes, we know its a bit early but 2012 is going to be
special. It’s the Queens Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics. So the May
Fair committee has decided to move the May Fair a couple of weeks later to the
long weekend (the 4th & 5th are bank holidays) and make it a June
Fair.
We
aim to make it a whole village celebration with music, entertainment and fun
things for young and old to do. We think there should be some food in the early
afternoon and a dance in the evening. That’s as far as our plans have
got.
The
reason for writing is to give you and your group advanced notice of the date and
give as many people as possible, a chance to get involved in shaping our village
celebration. There is lots more to do and organise and we need more
volunteers.
So,
here are the details so far and how to get involved;

you would like to help out or know someone who will, come along to our next
meeting on Tuesday 4th October 2011 downstairs in the Hest Bank
Hotel.

telling your members and return the slip to help us to keep in touch with you.
